Chester founded SecondHand Marketplace in 2023 after a series of "entrepreneurial adventures" that he prefers not to discuss in detail. With a background in "creative procurement" and "alternative retail solutions," Chester brings a unique perspective to the world of commerce.
Previously, Chester worked in various industries including midnight moving services, estate clearance (sometimes before the estate knew it needed clearing), and freelance item redistribution. He holds a degree from the University of Hard Knocks and a PhD in Applied Hustle from the School of Life.
When not sourcing unique inventory, Chester enjoys long walks through other people's storage units, estate sales, and anywhere items might be "temporarily unattended." He's passionate about giving neglected items a second chance at happiness.
